Tips to keep Your Mental and physical health strong!
In this mechanical life, we often forget to give attention to our mental and physical health. I have made a few categories on this topic;
1. Working people
Nowadays earning money is the biggest goal of everyone’s life. Nobody thinks beyond money, there are a lot of things to learn, and only earning is not a life. Ok.. people may comeback saying that “ without money how can we survive ?”. Yes, agree with there point but you are not born to earn money. If you’re alive then only you can earn and make use of it. so taking good care of your body and mental health is very important.
2. Non-working people
Most of the people in this category simply wasting their time watching tv series and gossiping about others. You’re not bored to talk about others’ life and their lifestyle. It’s their choice. And some of them spend their time on social networks. This may lead to mental illness.
3. Students
Reading is a part of our life that never ends. I have seen many students losing their life for a few marks, they don’t even know the value of life. Mental stress and competition are the biggest problems for students’ health.
We all have gone through these stages of life but we have to make sure that our future generation has to overcome weak mental and physical health. Below tips might help for the same. “Mental health is directly proportional to the physical health“. Both mental and physical health are connected to each other. if you’re mentally strong then obviously your physical health is strong. Only eating healthy food can’t make you strong and healthy meanwhile you should take care of your mental health too.so keeping your mind calm and focusing on your body signals may help to keep you strong.
How to keep your mental health strong?
Reading is a part of our life that never ends. I have seen many students losing their life for a few marks, they don’t even know the value of life. Mental stress and competition are the biggest problems for students’ health.

- Make a distance from negative people: if you’re getting negative vibes from a man stay away from him. that is the root of building negativity in mind. The base will start by simple talks and gossip that may lead to the mental illness and we start comparing ourselves with the others and keep on doing this and also start doing the same. There is a saying in Kannada “ sangha dosha “which means we unknowingly start learning negative things from our people around us, with whom we spend time mostly.
- Maintain social networks distancing: social networks are the main reason for mental illness. if we send our half of the life in checking other's joyful life then when are you going to live yours. Just imagine a scenario that “ A friend uploaded a photo of his journey ether unique place that you have not visited, you unknowingly start comparing your life with your friend” this is what leads to mental illness. Your mind will keep on reminding you that your friend is leading a good life than you, then you start thinking to make your life better than him, here we go..! the computation of life. Thinking about Leading a better life is good but not to compare with others and make yourself better. I am not opposed to social networks but don’t be addicted to that. check and having fun is good but not more than the need.
- Say NO to the things: if you don’t like the things say no. examples “In the office, the boss gave you to do something new work, which you don’t want to do, say no. If you don’t that might lead to mental stress”.
- Stop overthinking and unnecessary worries: overthinking and worries are the base for mental illness. There is a saying in Kannada “ chinte chitege samana “which means if you only overthink about the things that may take you to the path of death. Avoid unnecessary worries about the future. Being positive can avoid these two things. stop thinking about the past. Past is past that can’t come back. It’s a waste of time. Just we have to move on.
- Spend your quality time with family and friends: family is the place where we can only find true love, affection, care, and trust. Spending time with family members can you forget all the worries and stress. Family is the place where we can share anything we want. If you have any problems or worries, discuss with your family rather then sitting alone and thinking about the same but not getting solutions this may lead may health problems.
- Listening to music and meditating: Music is the best therapy to make your mind peaceful. If you’re mentally stressed just listen to the music any kind of music that can make you feel better. just listen to ur mind that what exactly it wants to keep calm. Meditation is also the best option to get rid of all the stress and worries.
- Cultivate the reading habits: There are no age limits to Read and learn new things. Books are the best friends. There are 2 benefits of reading; 1. we can learn new life lessons and gain knowledge. 2. We can get ride of editions of social networks.
Simple advice to the students, please stop reading only to get markers instead start studying for getting knowledge on the subject that naturally increases your marks too. If u read for marks you get the marks but not the depth knowledge hidden in the subjects. your future doesn’t depend on marks or grade it’s dependent on your mental ability to solve the real-time problems which you can only get it by understanding the topic or subject in-depth. We have to educate our future generation about the value of life and have to build their mental strength.
- Stop watching serial: yes I am opposed to these saas bahu serials. These are the main causes of mental problems. Just imagine sitting at home the whole day watching these serial in which they only show THE NEGATIVE THINGS. Especially “ mother-in-law and daughter-in-law screwed relationships “, “ family members fight for assets “. If you’re a positive thinker and if you start watching these kinds of serial you will slowly turn to a negative thinker and start building only negative opinions about the people around you. I am not opposed to tv but watching the serial which builds positive vibes is good for mental health.
How to keep your physical health strong?

- Doing daily exercises: To keep your physical strength strong, you have to keep your body active. exercise is the way to keep up good physic. That to morning exercise is very good for health. Whichever type of exercise it might be; walking, running, or yoga. Just give 30 minutes of your time for it, which is more than sufficient.
- Eating Healthy food: Food is the main source of physical energy. Eating Fresh and healthy food can make you strong and energetic. Including fruit in your daily meal can help to build immune strength too. Do try to avoid fatty and frozen food.
- Maintain the routine: Time maintenance does an important role in maintaining good physical as well as mental health. eating timely and taking good rest is important. Prepare a daily time table for everything. This is a good habit too.
